A pine medicine advertising chest from Day & Sons of Crewe.
This would have been purchased as a medicine kit, by a horsekeeper, to keep his horses in good health and condition and treat any ailments they may suffer. These being the days when horses were the prime mode of transport.
This box originally from the early 20th century is in very good condition considering its great age and is a useful box, especially with having the drawer. It would be great on a desk, in the kitchen for keeping oil bottles or condiments in, alternatively it would be great in the bathroom as a storer of clutter.
