A great lamp with a fabulous design. It has a heavy base and a knurly feature on the upstand. The shade is aluminium which is probably a later addition, but works.

It is fully adjustable, can be moved up and down the arm and tilted to direct the light where needed.

A lovely bedside lamp or table lamp beside a reading chair or placed in the hallway.
