Originally this pail would have carried water or milk on the farm. It has a spout a carrying handle and a pouring handle. 
It has had a hard working life and this has given it its decorative charm. 
It is perfect for branches or dried blooms, it’s not watertight, but there’s room to place a vase inside to hold water for fresh flowers. Alternatively stand a tall plant in it. 
Can be used indoors or out. 
It has some bumps and knocks, however there’s nothing major.
