A lovely wooden hat form on a nice turned wood stand.
 
These were used to form the shape and size of the hat in manufacturing. They are now often used in boutiques and millinery shops for displaying hats.
The base shows signs of historic wood worm, which are long gone. 
 
A gorgeous decorative piece in the home and look fabulous with a nice hat, tiara or the family crown perched on them.
