These vintage hat blocks are so nice, they were used in the manufacture of hats, very often felt hats and were used to size and shape the hat.
 
They were also adapted to use for displaying hats in hat shops.
 
The stand is vintage but not original. This particular one is size 7 & 7/8ths.

They look great as a collection in a dressing room or the bathroom or even bedroom. Great to keep your favourite hat on or maybe your wedding headdress (especially nice in a dome).
