A vintage industrial sign which probably hung over a machine that manufactured something, advising that the first of the run was to be inspected.
 
This would be so if there were any faults the error could be rectified before too many passed through and were wasted. The sign shows age related wear and the board is cut roughly as original was.
 
A quirky sign to hang on a gallery wall or prop on a shelf!
