We absolutely love this scratch built French meat safe, it really is a bit of us! 
The moment we saw it we said side table. 
The top has original typography from the crate used. 
The bottom shelf is coated in zinc which would have been used to help keep the food cold and also it would have been easy to clean. 
Perfect to store throws or cushions, maybe books or magazines.
