A rare original vintage illuminated surgery sign. 
This would probably have hung above a door to the examination room and once the patient was ready for the doctor to examine them, the nurse would turn on the light to let said doctor know. 
A rare and lovely little decorative piece. 
Rewired with black fabric flex and PAT tested.
