This rare Murray’s Marshmallows advertising display box would have sat on the shop counter. The marshmallows would have been delivered in the box and once empty a new one used, so most of these were destroyed.
 
This is the same company that made Murray Mints and this box we believe is from the early 1900’s. The lid is a little warped, however it has done well to survive possibly 100 years. The label is in excellent condition for its age and the colours are stunning.
 
It makes a lovely display box for plants or treasures and would be really useful in the bathroom or kitchen for an attractive place to keep the necessities!
