These are a wonderful piece of architectural history. 
They are wooden daggerboards from a canopy on the platform of a French Station. Still extremely decorative. 
As well as daggerboards they are sometimes known as dags or valance boards and help to channel water away from the canopy, so protecting the passengers from the elements.
