This is a really unusual piece! 
It is a stand or platter made of galvanised metal. I am unsure what it would have been used for, but it has a glorious look. 
Plain on top it stands on three lovely corrugated, almost frilly legs. 
I see it having so many uses in the home. A fabulous trivet for the centre of the table!
