A great vintage enamel “Washing Boiler” Early 20th century.
I have had these before, however this is a rare colour, we think it has quite a modern feel in black. 
 
Unusually it still has its original lid. The lettering is part of the enamelling not painted. Condition is very good, there are a few age related knocks and bruises as you would expect as it will have lead a hard life, though nothing that spoils the overall look of this beauty and the inside is in excellent condition. 
Fabulous in a utility room or kitchen, unusual loo roll holder, planter or even with logs or shoes in.
