A very rare vintage shop sign.
 
This would have been used on display in a department store quite possibly. It would have had small present ideas sat in the compartment at the back and put in clear view for shoppers to see what was suggested.
 
The company that manufactured the sign Clements, Newling & Company Ltd of London no longer exist. However they were prolific during the 1930’s producing haberdashery cabinets, show cards and general shop display.
 
A fabulous piece of Christmas Art Deco history.
