A lovely vintage wooden box.
 
The butterscotch would have been delivered to the shop in this box and then displayed on the counter in it.
 
These boxes were often discarded once empty, so to find one still in such good condition is great. The label is in very good condition for its age despite having a little rippling it has remained in tact and the colour is very strong.
 
These boxes make lovely display boxes in the kitchen for condiments or plants , or on a desk or dressing table.
