This is the sought after wooden wall scissor light. In amazing condition for its age, circa 50’s/60’s.
 
Designed by the late Terence Conran for Habitat. This is a very collectible lamp. Screws to the wall and plugs into a socket, or alternatively can be hard wired by an electrician. 
The arm extends to 58cm and swivels from side to side. The shade can be tilted using the small wing nut to adjust. 
 
The shade is the rare copper colour with just a small amount of age related wear. The wall bracket and the scissor arm are beech wood. 
It’s all original apart from, we had to replace the plug with a new modern version. The switch is still the original. It has been safety checked and PAT tested by a qualified electrician. 
A stunning rare find suitable for a contemporary, mid century or totally vintage home. This has timeless style.
