A very unusual vintage galvanised wash tub. 
Shaped like a small bathtub, it has the washboard built into the design at the back, where you would have knelt and scrubbed the clothes up and down into the suds. It still has the soap tray to drop the washing soap into. 
The words “Sims Ideal Rubbing Tub” is pressed into the front of the tub readable from the inside (backwards on the outside), so that it could be read whilst washing your clothes! 
Perfect storage for the bathroom for towels, sponges, bottles, etc. 
would look fab filled with plants or as a quirky log store by the fire!
