Saint Cecilia is the patron saint of musicians. 
Her saints day is November 22nd when concerts and music festivals are held in her honour in France. 
Beautifully made with wood, a hand cut toleware banner and decorated by hand. 
The Latin inscription recounts the story behind her actions. 
The piano keys are purely decorative and do not move, so no sound can be made by them. 
A truly wonderful conversation piece. A perfect addition to a music room or as a gift for a musician/collector.
