A unique carved offertory box.
It has a cross shaped slot in the hinged lid to accept coins.
It has a curious message, on a scrap of paper in the box, reading "There is no news so far". It was found with the note inside and will be included.
There's an ornate hasp on the lid that has a wonderfully aged patina.
The box is mounted on a turned pedestal and can be fixed to a wall or will actually stand alone.
