An unusual vintage basket in two ways, its height and size and also the typography. 
I have had one of these before, same shape, same typography and despite researching it, I don’t know what the word ALLOY refers to. 
Nevertheless great baskets. Neat kindling basket, umbrella and stick storage, or even lots of loo rolls.
