An absolutely gorgeous French desk, found in Nantes. 
Circa 1880 making it Napoleon III 
This a fabulous piece very elegant yet sturdy, it has a drawer at either end of the desk, of good proportions so plenty of space for paper, etc. 
The handles on the drawers are the original ones, made of heavy brass and styled like acanthus leaves. 
It has wear, commensurate with its 140 plus years, but nothing that detracts from its beauty.
