This little stool is such a cutie. 
It’s weathered and a little bit gnarly, but beautifully so! The grain on the top has developed into smooth tactile furrows, which make a lovely texture. 
In true folk art fashion it has been made for a purpose and has been repaired when needed using the primitive method of a scrap piece of wood and as many nails as possible! 
A lovely characterful little French stool.  .  .
