A unique scratch built work lamp made using an original Singer lamp. 
The original Singer lamps were used in factories on work benches and over sewing machines, some attached to the machine itself. 
This one has been made with available hardware and the original Singer machine lamp. Stands on a heavy metal turned base. 
The lamp is operated by the original toggle switch to the side of the lamp. 
A great little work lamp for a craft room or small desk or as an unusual bedside lamp. 
It has been rewired in black twisted flex by a professional electrician and PAT tested.
