A fabulously unusual gift for a singer or musician, or indeed someone who love’s quirky decorative items. 
This lovely vintage microphone made by Grampian of Kew, dates from between 1933 - 1936. Not having its plug and cable it is no longer a working microphone, though that’s not to say it couldn’t be professionally restored to work again. 
It is gloriously decorative and definitely harks back to a particular time in history, giving it a wonderful nostalgic charm. 
It’s heavy, so would make a very unusual paperweight on a music lovers desk.
