You know we like the rare, unique and unusual here at SMV.  .  . well these candlesticks tick all the boxes!! 
They are totally glorious, hand carved from wood then gilded. They are single sided and stand with a fixed leg on the back of each one. The nails that attach the legs bear the forge marks of a blacksmith. 
We have never had nor seen any like these and think they are either French or possibly Spanish. Wherever they are from, they are really something different!
