A rare and fabulous antique French faience oil jug circa 19th century. 
Finding this was a heart fluttering moment. This very old glorious beast has damage as would be expected for something so fragile yet so old,  it has at some point in its life had the handle knocked off but replaced (See photos).
Despite its flaws it is still a most decorative faience jug.
