A rare piece of antique rustic charm.
 
This glorious tray started its life as a coin holder in an antique till drawer, on the Midland Railway. Circa late 1800’s. 
 
The bowl carved out of this fabulous chunky piece of wood, will have held old coins.
 
It is smooth and worn from the coins being slid out and is very tactile. The letters M.R. Co. are carved on the front.
 
A lovely versatile piece, perfect in the hallway or beside for coins, specs, keys etc. Alternatively it would be nice with candles in on the coffee table.
