A glorious heavy French rubber glove making mould by Oyhenart Vichy. 
These were used to make rubber gloves, by dipping the mould into a rubber solution and leaving to dry. The rubber was then rolled off the mould and et voila. . . it was a rubber glove. The machines these things were attached to can be seen in the photos. 
Now these are fabulously decorative pieces and look great with jewellery adoring them. Certainly far too decorative to smash and send to landfill. 
Measurements: 43cm high x 9cm across the hand and 10cm at the base.
