An absolutely glorious large antique French ironstone cheese dome and plate. 
The two appear to be a marriage, as the plate is slightly different to the dome, however none the less it is a good pairing.
There are some nibbles on the underside of the plate, and a couple of age related surface cracks in the crazing on the dome, as would be expected with its age and use. However nothing that detracts from this beauties charm. 
A stunningly decorative piece and useful too.
