A fabulous French wooden delivery and display trunk.
 
Complete with original lock and key!
 
The exterior is painted in a style to imitate wood, which is always a little baffling to me when the trunk is constructed from wood!! When the lid is lifted the original advertising label is seen on the underside. In excellent condition and very attractive with a large picture of a cat, the trademark of the HOFFMAN COMPANY.
 
The advertising slogan reads: STARCH BUYERS. . . Demand THE CAT trademark and the name HOFFMAN! It then goes on proudly to advertise an award it has received for excellence.
 
Measurements: 66 x 41 x 26cm high.
 
Styling Hints. . .
Lovely open as storage for magazines and throws, or would make a fantastic cat bed with a foam base and blankets added.
