This 19th C corbel shelf in gilded rococo style is a heart stopper. 
It has a fabulous exaggerated design and is absolutely beautiful. 
The gesso has some losses as would be expected for something so decorative and of great age. However nothing so noticeable that it detracts from the beauty of this glorious piece. 
It is perfect to elevate something special, be it a simple piece or grand, this shelf is just the perfect thing.
