A vintage sign instructing to keep the doors closed. 
Originally from the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. 
Someone has at some point wrote the word “pit” on the bottom of it. The audience area just behind the orchestra pit is referred to as “the pit”, so like to be from above or on doors in that area. 
A great decorative sign for the home or business.
