Watchmakers drawers come in many guises and these are tabletop ones. The one thing they have in common is that they all have shallow drawers. This is so the small pieces can be easily found.

They usually have lots of inner compartments to separate the tiny parts and this one has had said compartments, which have been removed over its lifetime for the drawers to have other uses.

These are perfect for sitting on a work table to hold all the trinklements such as buttons and bows. . . pencils and paints. . . card and paper. . . crafting accoutrements. . . etc!

Alternatively they would make excellent jewellery storage.
