A really strong and  fabulous gathering basket. 
We think this could be a grape basket, however it may be for some other produce. Certainly agricultural with its heavy wooden base. 
This is a perfect log basket as it can take the weight and won’t topple over. The staves up either side make it decorative as well as strong. It would also work well as a laundry basket or with a beautiful blooming plant! 
The wicker s in good condition.
