Genuine Antique Arts & Crafts Copper Coal Bucket With Wrought Iron Legs & Handle
This gorgeous antique copper & wrought iron coal bucket comes from the arts and crafts period, 1890's - 1920's
It has a hammered copper bucket with a "pie crust" perimeter. The scroll work frame is wrought iron topped off with a spiral cage handle.
Purchased from an old antique shop in Leicester during the early 1960's, it remained in constant use in an old miners cottage until it was made redundant when central heating was installed in the late 90's. It was then relegated to the old coal house until it was rescued recently.
It could be used for logs or would look great as a planter. It is in great untouched condition.
