These vigneron baskets are used in the vineyard for grape collection. The word vigneron means grape grower. 
These make really useful baskets at home. Hang on a hook or a peg rail and they’re perfect to drop throws, scarves/gloves, shoes or the like in or fill with dried blooms. 
I have two of these, they do show signs of use, but are still good and have lots of life left in them.
