A gorgeous large French fish basket, in very good condition for its age. 
It has had a historic mend on one of the handles which is shown in the photos. However this cannot be seen when the handles are crossed. 
Just to point out that although this was used in its past for fish, there are absolutely no traces/smells. 
A wonderful basket for the avid seamstress or crafter, or a beautiful addition to the bedroom for scarves, belts, etc.
