Pants & Petticoats!
Thats what was stored in this antique wooden box that has survived the test of time. 
This would have sat on a shelf or cupboard in a haberdashery or clothing store and held the stock of smalls! 
It may have also been used to deliver items to the customer as it has the remnants of labels from at least one journey and also red wax that probably formed a seal whilst in transit. 
A perfect size to slide under the bed for storage with the typography showing, on top of the wardrobe or under the coffee table with magazines or paraphernalia in it!
