A beautiful decorative heavily glazed folk art stove tile. 
Originally from central Transylvania circa late 1800-early 1900’s Made in the village of Almas, which is in the folk art region. 
The design depicts birds and the tree of life. Either side of the birds is an initial which is the mark of the maker. 
A fabulously decorative piece, which would look great on a shelf as part of a vignette.
