Epps’s Vintage Advertising Crate
£0.00Price
Epps was the largest manufacturer of cocoa powder in Britain during the 19th century. James Epps was the founder of the cocoa empire in the 19th centry and was from a prominent family of homeopathic physicians and pharmacists.
I believe the crate to be from the late 1800’s. It is in lovely condition and although the label has some wear, the colours are still very strong. It is remarkable for something that would have been used to deliver cocoa to retailers.
