A lovely vintage shop counter display case. 
Made from some kind of composite material that is given a look of wood, it has scroll work on the top at the back, and a drop down Perspex door. 
The inside is slightly sloping, making it ideal to display small books (possibly observer books), or alternatively a coral and shell collection, etc.
