A pine medicine advertising chest from Day & Sons of Crewe.
 
This box and it's contents would have been purchased by the farmer to treat his livestock. For the princely sum of £2 and 4 shillings. It contained, Universal Medicine for disorders of horses, cattle, calves, sheep, lambs, foals and pigs! So as it says on the box . . . Universal!!
 
This box originally from the early 20th century is in very good condition considering its great age and is a very useful box, on a desk, in the kitchen for keeping oil bottles or condiments in, alternatively it would be great in the bathroom as a storer of clutter.
