Carved Oak 19th Century Window Seat/Hall Settle
£0.00Price
A very unusual and attractive, antique, late 19th century, narrow, carved, hall or window seat.
It dates to around 1880. The back is carved as is the front apron the arms and front legs are bobbin turned. There is some minor loss on the apron and on the rear of the right hand arm (see photos), however overall it is a sturdy little bench.
This is a perfect seat for a narrow hall or a small space, including a bay window and will give great presence without overpowering the space.
