These antique herbarium seed samples are a beautiful piece of botanical history. 
Sets such as these were historically distributed by classic seed companies like Sutton & Sons, in fact some of these still bears the labels of Sutton & Sons. 
During the late 1800s seed merchants created these to help farmers and students, to identify crops and weeds. 
Each vial features a printed label on the cap, designated to the exact species inside. 
A fabulous piece of rare history and very interesting talking piece. 
One rack contains a full compliment of nine vials the other one unfortunately has some missing and contains six vials.
