The lovely French lady that I bought this beautiful antique lace panel from told me it was a bridal veil. 
If this is the case or not it certainly looks lovely used as one! I had a lot of fun styling it on Mabel (the lovely head)!
It is scalloped at both ends with a beautiful design on the middle. There are no holes, it is in lovely condition. Circa. 1800’s.
