This is a lovely French ironstone mixing bowl with a wonderfully large pouring spout. The spout was designed for pouring batter or similar mixture.

There’s some lovely crazing and a hint of that warm, aged buttery patina, that we all love. It has a few tiny nibbles around the rim and marks in the base, however it is just a fabulous bowl.

I love these. They’re not only good looking decorative pieces they’re so useful in the kitchen.
