These stunning antique French plaster corbels were, I believe originally used as corbels in the corners of a door or window surround or archway as embellishments. 
They could easily be used as this again if fixed in place, alternatively, they are beautiful as corbel shelves hung on the wall and displaying a beautiful piece! 
They have suffered some losses as would be expected, but these add to their beauty in my opinion.
