This little fella is so lovely. Circa late 19th Century. 
He is made from paper mache and is painted a lovely dappled tan colour. There a few age related cracks, however nothing major. The wheels may have been replaced during his long life, however I’m not certain of that. 
He still has his ears and his mane and tail. though his saddle and bridle are long gone.
