This is a beautiful survivor from the past, over 100 years old. We know old advertising and especially French.
Can you imagine one of today’s delivery boxes lasting for over 100 years?
This is an old haberdashery delivery carton, that would’ve held summer tops. 
The exquisite French writing says “New Summer Tops” and the year would’ve been on the bottom of the box where sadly over its lifetime has been removed, one has to wonder why! 
Whoever owned it previously definitely wanted to keep it in use in the photos it shows where it has been repaired on the corner when it has suffered damage.
A lovely decorative piece for a dressing room or bedroom, the perfect place to store accessories or maybe new summer tops!
Something that most definitely shouldn’t have survived yet has survived against the odds.
