This is a genuine Belgian Railway wicker hamper emblazoned with a large letter B

It is a fabulous useable size but not too large. Perfect as a side table or small coffee table or extra storage in the bedroom or hallway for dropping shoes into.

The wicker is in good condition for its age with only a little wear and the wooden frame and wicker don’t seem to show any sign of worm. It still retains its wooden runners on the base.

We love how the lid sits inside the framework as opposed to being completely on top. Designed that way so that they would stack easily.

They would have been used to transport parcels, letters, linen, etc.
