This a gorgeous vintage original EXIT sign from the interior of an Odeon Cinema. 
A wonderfully nostalgic piece of history from the 1930’s in original found condition, except from being rewired to modern standards, using black twisted fabric flex and LED lamps so it will not get too hot and is very economical to run. It has also been PAT tested, and has an in-line switch to turn it on and off.
 
There is a light panel on the bottom of the casing too which would have washed downwards to light the door. If standing on a table/sideboard, etc, the front can easily be flipped by undoing the screw fixings and turning the Exit panel over, then the light panel in the base will be on the top and can be used to wash up the wall. 
Wall mount it (will need to be near a plug) or sit on a table as a lamp. It could also be hard wired by a qualified electrician.
